This is such a fabulous antique gypsy set ring.  It is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, and its makers mark, M.M

All three old mine cut diamonds sit in a gypsy settings which gives them a robust and durable setting, suitable for everyday wear, and the perfect choice for an engagement ring.    The diamonds are extremely lively (see video), and catch the light as only old cuts can do.

This antique ring has a thick shank which tapers slightly towards the back.  The band currently measures a UK N 1/2, which is a US size 7. and it weighs healthy 5.06g.
